Cruising along with LED lights
LED lights are very attractive to automobile engineers because they require far less energy than other globes. The electrical needs of modern cars are over-stretched to support power steering, entertainment systems, GPS, and electrical controls, so reducing the power required for lights has an impact on many other aspects of a car’s design.
Light where you need it
LED lights are directional in nature and they point out a steady beam of direct light to the area where the light is directed. A standard incandescent or CFL bulb electrifies a metal filament to produce light and therefore the lighting is distributed in all directions.

It might surprise you to learn that in some cases it might actually be a USB Flash drive! Modern women want it all—they are tech savvy, stylish, and want the best of both technology and fashion. Trendy USB accessories are just perfect for them. If USB Flash drives are must-haves for the geeky young things, why not have fun with them too? They are of course beauties with brains! What do Indians want in a smartphone?
It’s crucial for a smart manufacturer to consolidate its key features to acquire larger acceptance of the technology. In the past couple of years smartphone technology has evolved at a tremendous pace and smartphone manufacturers, along with the smarter ones in Shenzhen, are incessantly incorporating new features into their latest brands.
Shanzai- Pierre Cardin a legitimate shanzhai brand?
The Pierre Cardin brand like many others has been diluted to an extent due to its ruthless global ambitions, but the logo and name are still a force to reckon with in fashion circles.
Shanzai- eBooks poised to go shanzhai
Sony is all over the new product category as well. However I suspect it will be the shanzhai players that get a sizable chunk of what some say will be a billion dollar industry.
Shanzai- Smartbooks: An introduction
Smartbooks are much lighter than netbooks; they weigh not more than 1kg. They’re about 20mm thick and a battery charge lasts for a whole day. Just think pocket netbook that offers the connectivity and battery life of a smartphone.
Shanzai- How much will good smartbooks cost?
After extensively reviewing the Lanyu eBook smartbook, the first smartbook that was actually available for purchase, we made some value judgments about how it wouldn’t be a great deal at US$98. We did say however that a better quality smartbook would be an excellent value at that price. But how much will a better quality (1 GHz SnapDragon CPU?) smartbook really cost?
Shanzai- China “fleecing” Apple and Google… ha ha ha
Covering the China consumer electronics, phone and PC industry is a load of fun but its rarely a barrel of laughs. That is until I read VentureBeat’s “Apple and its iPhone get fleeced in China, but will Google fare any better?” An article that attempts to point out that the deals Chinese telecoms are striking with Apple and Google aren’t very good for either company… excuse me while I pick myself off the floor to continue writing this article.
Shanzai- 11.1
I've spotted here is a fairly upmarket netbook with a traditional Chinese porcelain design. You could argue that it's not a true shanzhai clone, in that as far as know, it doesn't copy an existing design or infringe on anybody's IP. I does however features some cool design specs.
Shanzai- 3-way chess match for China
Remember way back when Microsoft was the big bully on the block and Linux was the lithe new kid challenging to threaten its dominance? Fast-forward a few short years and Google through its internet savvy and Apple as the early mover into mobile have now changed the entire landscape of the industry and their newest playground is China. What we've got on hands is an Apple vs Google vs Microsoft 3 way chess match for China.
Via arena - One Laptop per Child
The OLPC project is the vision of by Nicholas Negroponte, a professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Although the idea behind OLPC was conceived many years ago, the project took off in 2002 when Negroponte gave 20 laptops with Internet connections to children in a small village in Cambodia.
