Analyzing Dragon Dreams
All through history, dragons have symbolized power and depending on the culture, good or evil. Dragons from Eastern cultures have traditionally been the embodiment of truth and virtue, prosperity, and spiritual or personal quest. On the other hand, Western culture has typically viewed dragons as evil, harmful, guardians of treasure and symbols of greed. So does the regional symbolism apply to dreams?
A Dragon's Disposition
In college, I read Beowulf. In case you were fortunate enough not to have to read it, it's about a bold hero who again, attacks and is victorious against a horrendous and deadly dragon.
Dragons are among the most ancient symbols of power.
In part one I endeavor to reveal an insight into dragon lore found in early cultures. Afterwards we will flow into how dragons can be entwined with modern culture.
