How I became "The Diabetes Lady"

For nearly all of all my adult life I ate foods that were healthy, didn't eat or drink sodas, high fructose corn syrup and processed foods. Regular exercise was part of my daily routine including simple walking(parking further away from my destination and always taking the stairs instead of elevators) and riding my bicycle.

Stress didn't seem to be a big subject and I thought I was getting enough sleep.

But my wake-up call was a real bolt from the blue for doing all the things I thought were proper.

I hadn't been full of energy like always and felt like I had a urinary infection so I got myself a home test and found I was right on.

Then I went to a clinic and told the doctor my narrative and she did another test but came back with a real Shocker. It seems that I was spilling sugar into my urine and she directed me to go to my regular doctor because I was diabetic.

After what I thought was a horrible diagnosis I started thinking " How could this - DIABETES - happen to me when I did all the right things.

Instead of going to the doctor I decided to take the bull by the horns and take care of my own health AND that devil diabetes too.

I began to research and to learn everything I could about this syndrome.

This is where our trip begins by me showing you all the things you can do to get back to having great health and not being at anyone else’s mercy and having your own destiny to health right in your own hands...AND how you can do what I did...do away with your diabetes yourself without drugs, pills or insulin.

Metabolic syndrome, what it is and what does that have to do with diabetes?

Metabolic syndrome has been becoming more and more common. Approximately 47 million people in the US have metabolic syndrome, which translates to approximately one in four American adults.

The exact cause of metabolic syndrome is not recognized. It is believed to be due to a combination of genetic factors (health factors that you inherited from your family) and environmental factors (lifestyle choices that you make including the types of food you eat and your level of physical activity).

Some of the metabolic disorders in metabolic syndrome are:

High blood pressure ( above 120/80)

Obesity (in particular, abdominal obesity); that "spare tire" around your waistline

Low HDL ("the good cholesterol")

High Triglycerides ( a form of fat in the bloodstream)

Glucose intolerance

All the above you can verify for yourself in the comfort of your own home with instant results. I'll show you how.

The more of the above "metabolic syndrome factors" you have, the more likely it is that you will be diagnosed with metabolic syndrome and if you are male, 24 more times likely to develop Type II diabetes.

Now you see why I am telling you about metabolic syndrome.

Pre-diabetes, what is it and do I have it?

This condition, "pre-diabetes" is a condition that occurs when the blood glucose ( blood sugar) levels are higher than natural but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes.

It's also referred to impaired fasting glucose. It is avowed that people with high fasting blood glucose (sugar) are at increased risk for developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

This means pre-diabetes IS "as serious as a heart attack" to you, so this is something you need to be aware of.

Some of the risk factors for diabetes are:

Family history, if you have a blood next of kin with diabetes.

Race or ethnic background People of African, Asian, Hispanic and Native American descent have a greater danger for diabetes.
.

Being overweight 20% or more your best body weight, you have a elevated risk for diabetes.

Hypertension High blood pressure increases your risk for diabetes.

Age The older you are, the higher your risk.

Alcohol use Heavy alcohol use over time increases your risk.

Smoking A person who smokes 16 to 25 cigarettes a day is three times to be expected to develop a cardiovascular problem than a non-smoker.

History of diabetes during pregnancy or delivering a baby over 9 lbs.

Do you know how many of these risks factors you have?

What is Type II diabetes?

Type II Diabetes is a ever-present condition in which the body cannot properly translate food into energy. Customarily food eaten is eventually broken down into simple sugar or glucose which cells need for energy and growth.

Type II Diabetes used to be called "adult onset diabetes" but presently, so many kids are getting it they altered the name from "adult onset" to "Type II" diabetes.

With citizens with Type II diabetes, the pancreas does produce insulin but the cells have developed a refusal to accept with it.

This form of diabetes usually occurs in those more than the age of 35, but these days, it can commonly develop as early as childhood.

Type II diabetes is a Lifestyle disease. Obesity, increased age, lack of exercise, unsuitable diet and to some degree, genetic disposition can trigger Type II diabetes.

The symptoms of diabetes embrace:

fatigue( like I had), nausea, frequent urination ( which I had, but I thought I had a urinary infection which I ultimately did have and got rid of it without drugs), excessive thirst, frequent
infections, sores which do not heal, blurred vision (which I had a problem focusing attributed to sugar in the eye affecting the nerves and retina of the eye) and weight loss.

I also had a foggy feeling where it was hard to concentrate which now, as a result of my "get rid of diabetes" discoveries is completely finished. Truly I have had none of these symptoms for a long time and it feels great!

High blood glucose levels resulting from diabetes can also bring about complications in the blood vessels, nerves, eyes, teeth, skin, feet and even the heart. These complications can be belated or avoided in general by maintaining the right levels of blood glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure.

So, with the "regular traditional most common approach" to Type II diabetes, a physician may prescribe diabetic pills or insulin to regulate your blood glucose.

But as this a Lifestyle disease you can influence your diabetes with healthy living, eating and exercise and not deal with the side effects of prescription drugs such as weight gain, which you need to do the opposite, upset stomach, gas, bloating, kidney problems, anemia and serious drug side effects that all our natural "diabetes lady" approaches WON'T bring about.

Consulting your doctor and keeping them abreast of you present situation can be important if you feel the need. So ask yourself are you experiencing any of the above symptoms?

Diabetes management, How does your Lifestyle and daily habit change blood sugar?

When it comes to diabetes regulation, blood sugar control is often the pivotal theme. After all, keeping your blood sugar level inside your target range can help you live a lengthy fit life. But do you know what causes your blood sugar level to rise and fall? The record can be sometimes shocking.

Here are a few things that can have an effect on your blood sugar levels:

Food

Healthy eating is a keystone of any diabetes control plan. But it's not just what you eat (that is what I thought) that affects your blood sugar level. the amount you eat and when you eat matters, too.

The Glycemic Index

Do you know what the Glycemic Index is? This is a means you will be able to utilize to choose the foods you like and will help you manage your blood glucose easier.

The Glycemic index is a ranking of carbohydrates on a range from 0 to 100 according to the extent to which they raise blood sugar levels after eating.

Low Glycemic diets have been shown to advance both glucose and lipid levels in people with diabetes. They have benefits for weight control because they help have power over appetite and delay hunger. Low Glycemic diets also reduce insulin levels and insulin resistance.

Exercise

Physical activity is another worthy part of a diabetes management plan. When you exercise, your muscles
use sugar (glucose) for energy.

Regular physical bustle also improves your body's reaction to insulin. These factors work together to lower your blood sugar level.

The more active your workout, the longer the effect lasts. But even light activities , such as housework, gardening or being on your feet for extended periods can lower your blood sugar level.

Illness and Stress

When you're sick, your body produces hormones to facilitate combating the illness. These hormones raise your blood sugar level by preventing insulin from working effectively.

This can help raise healing, but can wreak disaster with your diabetes management plan. Stress can also affect your blood glucose levels, so you want to control your stress too. Doing things you enjoy and even light to moderate exercise and maintaining a good mental state can go a long way to helping you eliminate stress.

Hormone levels

Hormone levels vary for women during their menstrual cycle, as can blood sugar levels particularly in the week before a period. Menopause may set off fluctuations in blood sugar levels as well Great Health naturally and be in complete control of your own fortune.
