Causes of psychological problems found in the working environment are usually overlooked, especially those that are not too obvious, such as verbal or emotional harassments. While the effects of these are not seen instantly, the effects linger on in the mind long after the abuse has taken place. Workplace health policies should never tolerate any form of harassment, as this can affect an employee's mental well-being.

Another common factor to take into consideration in workplace health is the idea of burnout employees. Burnout is usually defined as physical or mental collapse caused by overwork or stress. Burnouts may be because of the individual but still, companies can lend a hand to avoid this scenarios.

Employees who give up their personal and quality time to interact with family and friends usually are the ones to get burnout with over working. Withdrawal and depression starts to set in and behavioral changes become obvious to others as time passes. Encouraging employees to form social support groups should be included in the company's workplace health program to help.

In conclusion, adhering to zero-tolerance policy can solved any form of harassment in the office, whether its emotional, verbal or sexual harassment. Making a workplace more social and simply more fun to be in can solve employees being stress and burnt out. By ensuring that these things are properly implemented in their workplace health policies, companies can have more productive, happier and highly efficient employees.
