Are you planning on taking long trips on your motorcycle, or do you want it so you can ride around looking cool? Answering these questions should tell you a great deal about the type of cycle that interests you. If you are like most people, you are going to do several of these things. Determine what you will be doing most or what is of the most value to you.
Then you will need to try a few on. (It is a foul job but somebody has got to do it.) You need a motorcycle you can use comfortably. Can you easily reach the clutch and brake - even when you are going around a curve? If you are tall you want to be able to grasp the tank with your legs even when you are using the pegs, and if you are short you need to be able to put your feet down when needed to maneuver. Find a cycle that fits you.
Now that you know what you need, take a look at some used cycles for sale, and find the correct cycle for you.
