What To Do In MLM When You Have No Money

Before I begin, I have to tell you that I'm sensitive to money issues. When I first got involved with MLM, I was marketing nutritional products, and I was so broke that after I bought my monthly auto-ship I couldn't afford to eat regular food. I was wasting away eating protein, vitamins, and meal replacement shakes because I was determined to fight for my dreams.

The funny thing is - when I think back toward that time, I can't remember complaining even once. It was a struggle, and I NEVER made money in that company. You know what, though? I woke up every day excited, and those days helped shape me into the leader I am today.

Before we deal with the POVERTY issue, we need to stop the POVERTY mindset.

MLM is a peculiar profession.

It is the ONLY profession that you can legitimately start for $500 or less, and yet we get more complaining about the cost than any other profession.

Have you ever encountered that in your business? Tried to recruit a family member, they're SO excited to get started, and yet they can't come up with the $200 it costs to buy the start up package?

Now, don't get me wrong - the fact that they don't have any money doesn't stop them from having an iPhone, a $250 car payment, cable TV, and going out every Friday - it just stops them from being serious about their dreams.

I just want you to think about this for a minute...

...how many students in college complain that they're paying $5,000 a semester?

...how many Insurance agents do you hear complaining about their $1000 annual renewal fees?

...how many realtors do you hear complaining about the license fees they endure to sell Real Estate?

NONE.

The fact is, that traditional business costs money. A LOT OF MONEY. People know this when they get involved, and so they don't bicker about it - they come up with however much it takes.

Now, compare my little Network Marketing business to a Doctor or Lawyer:

First, I didn't have to go to school for 10 years. In fact, I'm a college dropout.

Second, I can start - not for the $300,000 it costs for medical school - but for under $300.

Third, I don't have to wait 10 years to pay off my loans - I can be profitable in a month or two.

Fourth, I can make WAY more money than most professionals, doctors included.

Finally, I get to travel the world, empower entrepreneurs, choose the people I work with and the hours I work - and I can pay less taxes than any other profession THAT EXISTS.

Now that took me 6 years of failing to learn how to do - but so what? Would that time have been better spent anywhere else? Plus, I've put together some tools and resources, that had I HAD when I started - it would have taken me 6 months to master, not 6 years.

Ok... So what do you do if you're struggling with the cost? Get over it. Borrow money if you have to. If you need something and you are on the edge financially - find a way to come up with the money and get whatever you need.

One time I needed a couple of thousand dollars to invest in a training seminar - so I got creative and sold a bunch of stuff on E-bay. I got the training and it paid off. The fact is that I DID NOT LET OUTSIDE CIRCUMSTANCES dictate to me what I could and could not do.

The reason I had to do an attitude check with you is because there are certain things that you need to have to be successful with your company. If you don't have them, you're going to be in a constant state of struggle and there will be no way to build a business, and if that's the case - it would be better to just quit before you fall too far behind.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you have absolutely no money. Nada. Here's what you NEED to market your business and get enough money to move yourself forward. These are the bare essentials.

1. You need to have an attraction marketing system that you can market online. This is number one and is even more important to have in place than it is to have a product to sell.

2. You need to have an Auto Responder set up with Aweber or GetResponse to automatically follow up with your prospects. This is another must. EVERY SINGLE online marketer has an auto-responder to keep in touch with their prospects. If you don't have an auto-responder - you'll be missing out on more than 98% of your potential recruits over the long run. Get it. It's going to cost about $20 and you can set it up straight from your Attraction Marketing system after you login. You want to do that because that way you can make sure that it is a part of your system and is set up properly.

3. You need to purchase your own unique domain name. If you're going to prosper, build your own brand, and promote yourself, you need a unique domain name. I'm in the process right now of PROVING that you can create traffic online and generate 20 or more leads per day using completely free strategies. I started a NEW CAMPAIGN with zero initial traffic and in 30 days I've gone from 0 leads to 10 leads per day from that FREE CAMPAIGN alone. But you have to have a desire and a willingness to work hard. I intend on running my free campaign up to 50 leads per day and I'll reveal my exact strategies to you when I do. Can you build a profitable business with 10 leads per day? You bet. I currently am sponsoring 1-2 people per week from that campaign alone.

5. You need a simple marketing strategy that you can apply DAILY work towards to propel your new website to the greatest levels of traffic that are possible. Look, If I can do this business - it is the ultimate testimony that someone can become involved and be in profit without anything to start. In my last business, I borrowed $250 from my parents to get it started - and in 6 months I made nearly $60,000 in profit, starting from absolute ZERO. Don't cheat yourself. Get what you need.

Finally, I just wanted to tell you that I believe in you. You wouldn't have made it this far if you didn't have a desire to overcome all obstacles in your path and a willingness to do the work to make it happen. You are a person of extraordinary ability and you can achieve things that no one has ever dreamed.

This is YOUR TIME to prosper on this planet, and there are thousands of people who are HUNGRY for prosperity who's lives you can change just by sticking your gut out and FORCING your environment to conform to your wishes.
