We were left to wait over 3 years for the release of Diablo 2 since they announced its coming. But, as Blizzard used us, its quality was more than it was expected. Diablo 2 offer us some unique experiences to an accessible price, perfect for every level of a gamer. For those who played the beloved predecessor game, a first access of Diablo 2 will bring a familiar atmosphere, not very different from the first one but, as they advanced in the game play, they will discover that this sequel is more than they thought. Unlike Diablo, Diablo 2 have a much larger single player game, its action placing in a huge world. It is separated in four different acts, for each act being available distinct settings. You can explore now the outdoor environment or some dungeon series. Still, the outdoor place isn't that interesting and you will soon get bored of discovering unimportant places.

The game line it is the same like in its predecessor, you will have to defeat the Lord of the Terror at the end, after you fight to hundreds of monsters and enhanced all of your abilities for a better confrontation. Also, you will need to gain some items that will give you some new and improved stats. But, this time, the story line it's better than in the past, so that you will discover new reasons to carnage all those monsters. Before you pass to a new act, after you finished the one before, you will be able to see some well done movies that will explain you why and what you will need to do. You will receive also some quests, not randomly, like in the original Diablo, but linked between them. This thing will make the story more adhesive and relevant.

If you don't like to kill monsters, we don't recommend you Diablo 2 because the missions are almost exclusively based on this type of actions. Don't worry, as your character gains more experience and new skills, and if you will be able to acquire good items, that will become relatively simple and easy to be done. The addiction level of Diablo 2 is even more than it was in the first game. It is more than difficult to stop, once you started to play it, because every mission will bring you a reward and you will be in a continuous stretching.

Summarizing all these ideas we realize, at a first view, that Blizzard North made a good job with the release of Diablo 2 and the 3 years of expectation worth. . While this game it isn't that accessible to the casual gamers, those who played the original Diablo say that this is the most important release of Blizzard.
