Reading others’ mind - To assume that what people are thinking is same as what you have got in your mind - the negative thoughts about you.

Forecasting fortune - Future prediction with worst to happen is done by the sufferer of social anxiety. Before you get into the situation you are certain that things will be horrible for you, this anxiousness will produce excessive anxiety.

Catastrophic magnitude - The things that are thought and blown out of proportion and worried about what other people will say when you are in an unpleasant, nervous or terrible state.

Taking it personal - Assuming that people have no other work than focusing on you that too for all negative things.

To make the things less concerned with self-focus, you better pay attention to the events that are happening around you instead of focusing on yourself.

By eliminating these mentioned negative thought patterns one will be able to conquer social anxiety with enough effort. Thus if you want to rid yourself of social anxiety then you need to free yourself of these negative thoughts!
