I absolutely love this planet and all it has to offer. We have so many remedies for all kinds of challenges that we face everyday. The biggest challenge with so many options is that sometimes the cure is worse than what ails you. Look at all the drugs that have side effects that are worse than the actual disease or come with warnings that death may occur? Well, while accent reduction is not quite that drastic, there are pitfalls you need to be aware of before you seek a cure for this type of dilemma. In this article I plan to arm you with the facts.

Most certainly the biggest problem with accent reduction is that, at first, its not natural. You are going against the normality of the way you have done something your whole life, the way you speak. Now, you might not think that this is a problem, but just wait until you are knee deep in your course and you are midway between speaking like you usually do and speaking like you want to speak. Its kind of like when a young boy goes through puberty. Its a hard thing to listen to. You going to feel self conscious about the way you speak for quite a while until you finally get the hang of it.

Okay, so given this pitfall, what does one do about it? Certainly, if you are out in the everyday world, working, playing, dating, or whatever, you cannot just curl up in a ball and escape from this reality. So the best course of action is the truth. Tell people about what you are going through. Tell them how excited you are about changeing your life. Let them in on it. Let them be a part of it. Its not a secret to be ashamed of its part of who you are, be proud of trying to better yourself. You going to be surprised how supportive people can be especially when you are trying to accomplish something.

Now there are some negative people out there that will say your wasting your time, ignore them. There are always going to be people who will try to bring you down or try to discourage you from doing something. This kind of negativity is like a poison and needs to be eliminated from your life. True, your not going to be able to avoid everybody. For all you know, your very own boss might try to discourage you, though I cannot imagine that if you are working in the US and doing customer service. If anything, many companies actually pay for this kind of training.

The truth is simple. You are about to embarq on a journey that is going to change your life for the better. Keep that one thought in mind. Make sure you find yourself a good method for accent reduction. In my signature, you will find an excellent one.
