Visualisation

Visualisation is the single most powerful capability that a human being possesses. By visualisation I'm referring to the act of creating vivid pictures in your mind

Visualisation, like natural law, is all encompassing. It is important to remember that you are continuously visualising and creating what you see in your physical world whether you are consciously aware of it or not. Unfortunately the majority of people just aren't aware of what they are creating. Most are unconsciously creating the daily events, conditions and circumstances that they come to experience in their lives but just don't realise it.

Those thoughts are causing you to visualise - in words, pictures, or feelings - the circumstances and events that you see and experience in your life on a daily basis. The unwavering universal Law of Attraction sees to this.

Too many people contemplate and visualise what they DON'T want to happen in their lives, or what they are worried about (bills, debts etc). This only serves to attract more of the same negative vibrations or frequencies.

You might as well start to consciously visualise and create the things that you desire, instead of leaving it to chance. Nothing in our world can grow before the first seed is planted. It goes against all scientific and spiritual law.

Your thoughts act as the seed, which through repetition, establishes the beliefs that you hold. The amalgamation of those thoughts and beliefs are the factors that decide your emotions. Visualisation, positive affirmations and goal setting represent the nurturing of that seed. Depending on the particular seeds that you are planting, how you nurture the seeds that you plant determines what you will come to see and experience in your physical world, regardless of whether you are doing it consciously or unconsciously.

Visualisation is one of the most under used tools that you possess because it greatly accelerates the achievement of any success in several powerful ways.

It activates your subconscious mind, which will start generating creative ideas to achieve your goals.

It activates the law of attraction, thereby drawing into your life the people, resources, and circumstances you will need to succeed.

It builds your internal motivation to take the necessary actions to manifest your dreams.

It programmes your brain to more readily perceive and recognise the resources you will need.

The power of visualisation is being used all the time by successful people, but unfortunately most of them aren't aware just how much this powerful technique is helping them.

When you give your brain specific, colourful and vividly compelling pictures to materialize, it will seek out and capture all of the necessary information to make that picture a reality for you. If you picture a beautiful home, a loving partner, an exciting career and wonderful holidays, it will work on achieving those.

By contrast, if you are constantly feeding it negative, fearful and anxious pictures, guess what? - it will achieve those, too.

A common problem people tend to ask themselves is:If I am not wealthy and successful, how can I lie to myself and imagine that I am wealthy and successful. That's a fair question. I struggled with this myself, and at first found it extremely difficult to imagine myself living a happy and abundant life, when the reality was the complete opposite!

Some useful tips on how you can get visualisation to work for you are:

The key to success - when trying to master any new skill - is always Practice and discipline. You must practice your visualisation skills. The good news is the more genuine your visualisation, the more effectively you will achieve your desires. Remember, you will only ever achieve as far as your thoughts and your imagination take you, so practice, it's worth it.

Always visualise yourself as if you have already achieved your dream and don't see it in the future.

Some people like to use metaphors in their visualisations. A gentleman that I know who was unhappy with his job told me that he visualised himself digging through a tunnel, and although he could see the light at the end of the tunnel, he never seemed to get any closer to it. I told him to change that vision. I said “I want you to see yourself out of the tunnel, in the daylight, celebrating the success of having made it. He quickly realised where he had been going wrong, and within two months his work situation had completely turned around.

Put emotions into your dreams. Whatever your dream, always feel what you are visualising. Of course, the emotions you attach to your visualisation must be positive. Visualise and feel the image of the world you want to live in, this multiplies the effects.

Remember to visualise how wonderful you are going to feel, as if you have already achieved your dream. You will then be emitting the right vibrational frequency to attract that which you desire.

These emotions are what drive your vision forward. Researchers know that - when accompanied by intense emotions - an image or scene can stay locked in the memory forever. The more passion and energy you can muster, the more powerful the ultimate result will be.
