In today's world, a wedding could cost upwards of $20,000 or more. A vintage wedding using the right materials could save money and be remembered for a long time. A few wedding ideas could be Victorian, disco, Elvis, medieval, western style or traditional. Whatever the style, be sure that the decorations reflect the couple to be wed.
Focusing on the Victorian style wedding, the bride wearing a pure white wedding dress with a long train, and a classical bouquet of red roses while the groom has a matching white tux with a rose red vest and red rose boutonniere. The wedding could take place outside in a garden setting, or in a grand chapel in the early afternoon with tea and cake to follow. The tables could be decorated in early Victorian with silver serving pieces, and antique tea cups. The great thing nowadays is that silver serving dishes and antique tea cups don't actually have to be real silver or antiques and could be purchased relatively cheap at any craft or hobbiy store and still look authentic. In addition to the serving ware, beautiful tulle flowing from a beautiful white arbor with green ivy scaling its sides, and beautiful roses placed on the ends of each row looks classy and expensive without being expensive.
Wedding decorations are very easy to find and incorporate into any wedding. From spending a couple bucks here and a couple bucks there, will make any brides wedding day even more special than it already is. Craft and hobby stores are great places to find that gem of an item that takes the wedding from good to great. You don't want the first few years together paying off the wedding debt; so purchase wisely. Decorations purchased for weddings can be altered in numerous ways to make the item flow even more with the wedding theme. Don't focus on an item's appearance, rather think what it could be.
Wedding decoration ideas can be from anywhere; wedding magazines, friends, television shows and other people's weddings. Just because someone else did it, doesn't mean you can't use their ideas and put your own spin on it. Remember, imitation is the highest form of flattery. That does not mean to copy it exactly but use wedding decorations to fit your ideas and what you want for your wedding. It is your special day so don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
