. It’s all about ‘decorating’ and ‘tarnishing’ a shop both inside and outside. The outside is the ‘eye catcher’ whilst the inside is the ‘pocket drainer’.

Cloths are displayed differently. They are usually put on hangers in order of their sizes. The girl’s cloths are separated from the boy’s cloths so that no one will get lost when looking for their cloths. Likewise, men’s cloths so are separated from women’s cloths basically for the same reason.

Food shops group different types of food in different shelves. The tills always have little things like chocolate, sweets and chewing gums. Light things are always in front. You may never know one might change his or her mind on buying chocolates whilst waiting to go to the till. Cereals are grouped together for easy choice of cereal wanted by an individual.

A shoe shop displays its shoes in a neatly manner. Shoe racks are wed. The shoes are neatly lined up one shoe racks. This enables customers to see the shoes nicely without being disturbed. It is always the best to include prices so that no customer would bother anyone working in shop for prices. It helps most when a shop is packed with a lot people especially during the times of special offers.

For toy displays, it is always a better plan to put common games in an open space where everyone can see them clearly. Most kids are popular with Spiderman, superman and Barbie dolls. Creating an attractive area for those toys will make all children want to have the toys parents will even end up buying them.

Displaying jewelry is another way of shop displaying. Jewelry has to put on glass displays which look like counters but are not. These glass displayed are transparent, therefore, looking at the jewelry wont be a stress. Besides, most jewelry items are small and need to be supervised by the shopkeepers, so that no one can steal them, things like studs and rings especially.

Furniture has to be displayed in such a way that makes people ‘want’ to buy it. The way that the furniture is designed has to make a shop look like an ideal home. In that way, people would have the feeling of waiting to have a home designed that way. This attracts customers and there are higher chances of sell. Simplified design always attracts people because it does not scar people away.
