Well an interesting activity to contemplate is whether you want a career where expectations are low or high. In some careers being spot on in everything is vital but in others the expectations are significantly lower. Here are eight samples of careers that have either low or high expectations.

1. Pollsters - Although there’s a science that goes behind polls, the public has low expectations because the accepted notion seems to be that polls can are easy to distort and the findings become anachronous quickly.

2. Politicians - Prior to being elected, such would-be officials typically offer a bunch of campaign promises and strategies but very few policies are implemented and most people expect little more.

3. Meteorologists - It is nice to know what to expect outdoors but if the weather person is off no on gets upset since it is well known that weather is capricious.

4. Statisticians - Precisely because statistics can be misleading or maneuvered, few people actually believe all the statistics that they hear. So if the statistic ends up being erroneous it doesn’t really matter because that’s what everyone expected.

5. Accountant - This is 1 career where you are expected to be accurate. If the books are low on cash or burdened with unexpected fees the accountant is likely to get fired.
