Does it ever appear like credit card corporations appear to treat their customers like indentured slaves? The policies that these credit firms use to see to your accounts are at best devious and at worst, down right outrageous and robbery. If any other industry tried to cheat their customers out of cash just like the credit card firms successfully do each day of the year, they would be investigated and imprisoned with a vengeance. But our government doesn’t do that so the credit card firms plainly have a license to steal.

The way these firms deal with your accounts incorporates a ton to try and do with why your credit card debt is thus laborious to get rid of. After you owe some thousand dollars to a credit card company and they are relentlessly slapping you with fees, jack up your interest rates and adding charges to your account for “membership dues” and phony things like this, it becomes clear that in addition to the debt, the debt carriers are the enemy, not your friend in making an attempt to induce your debt down.

You can put them on notice and make them march to your tune but you're going to have to “be the boss” to make that to happen. But if you get dozens of credit card offers and perhaps have a half dozen credit card accounts already open, you'll have the flexibleness to put them on notice that they credit card corporations have employment of serving you, not you serving them.

To make these arrogant corporations face the music, they have to grasp that they will be fired. To place them on notice, 1st make positive you know what they're up to. Get one years worth of statements and track the additional fees, the membership dues and each time they jacked up their interest charge on you.

Then armed with that information, telephone them and ask to speak to somebody who will make adjustments to your account. If the clerk doesn’t wish to play ball, start the process of closing the account. That can get their attention. You may have to actually shut down the account however don’t miss the chance to make comments after they return to the part of the process where they inquire why you're closing the account.

This can be where you get your licks in. You can leave as the rationale one thing like this. “I am closing the account as a result of you are imposing excessive fees and membership dues and I willneed the interest rate reduced to a certain rate and capped.” That can get some attention. You'll either get to a manager instantly or one can call you. Be prepared for a bunch of lame excuses and don’t argue. They will say they raised your interest rate as a result of you were late on a payment therefore this is often a penalty. Ok fine. Then a smart answer is, “I've got a policy of not paying you for work you do not do. Therefore my policy says I drop the account.” As long as you stay on your strength, there is no answer they can give.

The key weapon you recognize which they don’t wish you to understand is that you're a premium customer. The credit card firms apprehend there are a restricted amount of individuals who can carry a debt and make the payments. And each time they lose a client, that pool of victims, or consumers, goes down. And don’t be fooled by any dialogue that they have no leverage to alter the foundations of the game. They will and that they will. You'll demand they rebate to you all charges imposed since last year. They'll scream that you're being unreasonable all they want. You're among your rights to reply, “It’s unreasonable you impose fines and costs on my account lacking notice and for no additional value or work that you're doing. Its usury and I'm within my rights to close this account and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with the US Attorney General.”

This is not just scare tactics. These are words credit card companies live in concern of hearing. Therefore use the tools you have and put the credit card corporations on notice that they are going to march to your tune or, to borrow a catch phrase from Donald Trump, “You’re fired”.
