Why 75?
75 ball bingo is made up of cards arranged in 5 rows and 5 columns, thus making 25 numbers. Each of the letters B.I.N.G.O represents a set of numbers. The first letter B, which is in the first column, for example, represents the numbers 1 to 15 while the second letter I, represents the numbers 16 to 30. The third letter, N, represents numbers 31 to 45, G represents numbers 46 to 60 and O represents numbers 61 to 75. That is why it is called 75 ball bingo.
The numbers of bingo patterns that you can play are broadly classified into four categories - the static, the moving, the crazy and a combination of both moving and crazy patterns. The pattern is referred to as static when it does not move. In the course of a game, the pattern does not change or rotate and the player wins when the images of the games pattern is marked on a single card.
With a moving bingo pattern, the configuration could change several times during a game. By marking the appearing configurations, the player could qualify for a winning card. Crazy bingo patterns, on the other hand, are patterns that can be rotated by up to 270 degrees. Beginning with a 90 degree rotation, crazy bingo patterns can be rotated incrementally to 180 and then 270 degrees fro a winning pattern.
Some bingo patterns are both crazy and moving. A combination of moving and crazy bingo patterns means that not only does the configuration change during the course of the game but also that the patterns can be rotated.
To play 75 ball bingo, players purchase cards which have numbers that correspond to the word B.I.N.G.O. The numbers are drawn at random to get one player to complete the B.I.N.GO pattern. The 75 ball bingo pattern has 24 numbered spaces and one free space. The number of cards that players can choose from is in excess of six thousand.
