The map was another mistake from Diablo's creators. If you want to explore the outdoor environment you will need to keep it opened because it is difficult to know where to go in such a big world. In this situation you won't be able to see all the graphics and your view will be restricted. The solution for this problem could be a small map in a corner and this thing would have done the game much more playable. At least, the designers made some fine tune ups to improve the quality of Diablo 2.

The best part at Diablo 2's graphics is that, being a 2D game, the loading screens when you pass from an area to a different one is very short. This isn't available for the loading of the acts, the time being still too big. Before, you had to attack the monsters by pressing the mouse click thousand of times. Now you can just hold down the mouse button until the creature is dead. This will save you from a lot of moves and will manage your fingers. Some shortcut keys are available also, in Diablo 2, but still they aren't enough, because they don't success covering all the possible skills and character's options.

Fans tried to improve the graphic qualities of Diablo 2 by all kind of tricks. They eliminated the hard shape and the pixelate aspect by changing the game's resolution. In the option menu you are able to see a button that can turn the graphic settings up. With a resolution of 800 x 600 and a windowed mode, the bad graphics are easy to pass with the view. You can set your game to run in a window by adding on the name of the file path the termination.

Despite the graphic problems, which can be with a little patience solved, Diablo 2 is a good and very appreciated game, even more than the original one. Blizzard Northern reached a high rated top and hit the jackpot with this game, because, after 10 years, people still play it on private servers or in the single player mode.
