Joseph Murphy says that prayer is a synchronized, harmonious, and intelligent function of the conscious and subconscious levels of mind specifically directed for a definite purpose. In prayer you consciously choose a certain idea, mental picture, or plan which you desire to experience. Prayer is a powerful way to transform your life, receive guidance, and achieve your goals, but you must do it right!

Prayer boxes are used by followers of many faiths, including Christianity. All faiths use prayer boxes to focus on one's prayer requests by writing them down on a small piece of paper and placing them into the prayer box. Prayer boxes come in many shapes and sizes, but the most important aspect is that they relay on the miraculous power of written prayer.

It all starts by deciding what you really want and writing it down. The act of writing your prayer request down vastly increases your chance of success because because of the clarity of prayer request, and because your thoughts and words are powerful. It's important that you write your prayer request in the present tense. Ron Holland claims that all the books that have ever written on the subject of goal accomplishment have told you to word your goals in the present tense. If you say "I will" then it means in the future, and your subconscious mind (your biocomputer) will be saying, "standing by, standing by, standing by, waiting for instructions." If you want to get results you must use the present tense. Brad Yates states that if you write "I want this", then you are vibrating at a frequency of want and the wanting of it is what you will continue to manifest. It is also relevant to write positive things, always the features the objective has, rather than what it doesn't have. According to Joseph Murphy our subconscious mind doesn't make difference between positive and negative statements, thus, you get what you are focused on. This is the reason why many Christians never seem to get ahead, instead of it they feel like they are moving backward.

If you can't imagine yourself to receive the answer or if you doubt in it coming to pass, you will weaken your prayer. If you are not sure that this is a will of God, then it will not come to pass because the messages you send to your subconscious mind are controversial. If you say "I want a healing, I try so hard, but I can't get it." you are doomed to failure. If you are in a situation where you haven't got any results, and you start to question and doubt, you are moving away from your goals. Brad Yates provides an example how contradictory thoughts or doubts influence our manifestation. If we imagine ourselves going to a restaurant and ordering a hamburger, but immediately as the waiter walks away, you say, "I really shouldn't have that. Maybe I should order a salad." The waiter stands there waiting for you to make up your mind, and you wonder why you don't have your hamburger yet. Our subconscious mind is like this waiter, he can't serve us if we send contradictory signals to it.

Some people try visualizing and affirming what they want for a moment, but then they spend the rest of the time undoing this creation by worrying and doubting. Jesus says "If anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him." (Mark 11:23). If you are not sure, then it will not come to pass because the messages you send out are controversial. Murphy says that when your desires and imagination are in conflict, your imagination invariably wins. Ron Holland confirms it in his book "Eureka Enigma" by saying that when the words and the pictures are in conflict it is always the pictures that win.

If it seems you have no results when praying and you just can't imagine trying any harder to get results, then let me tell you about something you're sure to love. You don't need to try harder, you need to relax! Most people who struggle with getting answers and reaching their goals are simply too uptight about making it happen. A stressed-out state of mind delays problems being solved. Joseph Murphy tells about a man who got his best idea while shaving, then wisdom and intuition came to the surface mind. This is why many Christians get answers and best ideas during so-called soaking prayers, because then we stop trying too hard to get answers. If you stop trying too hard to get answers} consciously, your subconscious mind will solve problems for you and you experience more answered prayers. This means that you must relax and release all frustration and stress related to achieving your goal. Just place your prayer request into the prayer box, relax, and trust your miraculous subconscious mind who finds always solutions.

You do not always get the answer overnight. Keep on turning your request over to God until you receive the answer. You delay problems being solved by thinking it will take a long time or that it is a major problem. God has no problem to solve it. Believe that you have the answer now. Feel the joy of the answered prayer and the way you would feel if you had the perfect solution. As you sustain this mood, you shall experience the joy of the answered prayer.
