Why our enthusiasm about starting business online is so quickly put into a hard life test? Why so many of us miserably fail? The answer is scam and our inability to deal with it.

The tons of scam schemes sprawling on the internet speaks for themselves. The first impression they give us is nightmarish- people do not give a damn about you or me. All they want is our dollar. It looks like we have to watch out our every step and learn a lot alone, quickly and precisely - mistakes can cost us money, lots of money. It is like being followed by predators ready to strike in the jungle, where one wrong move can cost us dearly. Scary enough to abandon any thoughts of an online business, am I wrong?

So the questions that inevitably come to mind reflect our doubt and uncertainty: is it true that everything on the internet is a scam? That no safe heaven exists? Fortunately, the answer is no. Allot doesn’t mean everything. Allot means you have to be very careful, but not paralyzed by it. Just like in life, there are cheaters and honest people, those who lie to steal a symbolic buck and those who move mountains to get us somewhere. My simple advice is really simple -do not trust words until they are proven. If you are about to buy something, go ahead with the free trials, guaranteed programs, services, etc. Don’t rush your decisions on the basis of happy faces, beautiful cars and big manors we often see in advertisements - same for the fat-dollars statistics printed on so-called professional pages. You can, and probably already were, easily tricked.

Free trials give you enough time to analyze the product and make a final decision. And if you do not like the product or service, you can ask for a reimbursement. It happened to me a few times and it did work out.
Only those who truly believe in success, are reasonably careful and are willing to work hard without unrealistic, overnight financial expectations have a good chance to succeed. And they usually do. And if they can do it, so can you, right? You can find hundred of arguments to prove me wrong (if that’s what you want) by saying that big gurus have been on the internet for more than a decade (advantage) and you are just a newbie (disadvantage), or that they have magical connections you don’t have or they know all kinds of tricks you don’t know about, or even that they had money to start with you don’t, and so on and so on. True enough to make you doubt yourself, right? Yes, maybe true, but, not a hundred percent true. Why? Because there is a growing number of internet entrepreneurs who want you to succeed and make money. Yes, you heard me; I said succeed and make money! They understand a very simple rule of business: that numbers bring numbers. In other words, your success means more money for them (on the end of the line, business is only about money). So, they create a business opportunity for you, me and everybody else who is not paralyzed by too much question marks. They want you to become a part of their business structure. They need you as a potential client (buyer of their products or services) and constant traffic supplier, because more traffic equals more money. It is a very clean business cooperation that is profitable for both sides - they give you a ready-to-go business and you give them back stream of potential clients, plus the money you spend on their product or services.
Overall, it is also a great opportunity to start as an online entrepreneur and slowly gather experience and understanding of all aspects of web marketing:
*setting up goals and realistic expectations - a well-planned business has better chances to finally succeed than a poorly designed and executed one.
*disciplined approach to time management - crucial to control your own actions/decisions
*persistence - helps to achieve, step by step, your final goal by teaching us to be prepared to invest time before we can see our first dollars.
*focus - it’s all about sticking to your game plan - frequent business changing leads nowhere (a proven fact).
This whole knowledge is priceless because it comes from a real business life. It can really get you somewhere, not only because you learn a lot about the business you joined but also, because you learn more about yourself - who are you as a person and entrepreneur, what are your weaknesses and strengths, where are your limits in dealing with problems, etc. And it can be a key to your success not only online.
