Recently out of a medical facility, ten year old Pasadena resident, Joey Filetto, has a disease described as T-cell leukemia. He seldom has a chance to spend any time together with his dad because of his intensive healthcare therapies at Johns Hopkins Hospital and his father's working a lot to cover the medical-related bills. Despite that fact, tomorrow on Father's Day, he and his dad, Joe Filetto, will savor a unique afternoon on board a charter fishing boat.
This amazing dat is a generous gift provided by the fishing charter service, Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing, and the Casey Cares Foundation. The Casey Cares Foundation asserts that even if we cannot cure the heart-wrenching conditions, we would like to encourage the families in caring and inventive manner. The charity renders superb services to extremely ill youngsters and their family members across Maryland and the mid-Atlantic states.
"It truly is the perfect name for the charity for the reason that they really care for the kids," said Joe Filetto. He will enjoy enjoying Father's Day fishing with his son. This sporting event is a portion of "Family Festivities," one of six programs of the organization. As one social worker expresses, "Your organization is like this little jewel that gets placed in their lives to help provide opportunities for these youngsters and their families to unwind, laugh, celebrate, and be acknowledged as the special people they are."
Alongside the Filettos will be 8-year-old leukemia patient, Mikey Thurin, his brother Chris and dad Jim; 12-year-old leukemia patient, Kevin Gill and his dad Kevin; 10-year-old Caroline Keller being treated for non-Hodgkins lymphoma and her dad Jeffrey; and 12-year-old Alexandra Hancock who is fighting a malignant brain tumor, and her siblings Emily, Lindsay and Suzanne and dad Jeff.

All of the fathers and their youngsters will sail off from the charter boat's pier in Stevensville and spend good quality time together on the fishing charter in the Chesapeake Bay until dark after enjoying box lunches provided by Heavenly Ham of Severna Park.
"I can't help relieve their pain," Rich Shot, owner of Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing, said in a press release. "But I can give back in a way to create a memory that will last a lifetime."
