Suggesting cheaper options to the employer might still help the employees to be relieved of uncomfortable workplace environment, such as providing pillows if the company sees the ergonomic chairs to be too expensive. Employees cannot solely blame their employer when they don't get to exercise, it is also their responsibility to give themselves time to move their muscles even for a short period of time after office hours or on weekends.
