Welcome to Tyseley Tots Nursery in Tyseley, Birmingham. As we are stationed in a open factory unit, we are able to present a protected, enjoyable and stimulating environment in very good large surroundings for the kids to discover and play. Inside our child room we have invested in brilliant pieces of furniture and apparatus to stimulate and support mobility, ready for when they move on up to our Preschooler Room. We have a separate changing area to get cleaned up and a sleep part for when they need to renew their batteries. We employ a routine to all children as a guide to make certain they are happy and content throughout the day.

The Toddlers Room caters for the 1 -2's. This room is a fun and a colourful place where the kids use stimulating equipment to enhance their experience, whether or not it be learning to walk, extending their vocabulary or building their confidence to cooperate with other kids. We communicate with moms with daily records informing you of how your kid has been at nursery school throughout the day.

Kids are happy, positive and established within the setting. Children's and younger kids enjoy lots of cuddles and interest from staff who sit on the floor to play with them. Children progress their physical skills as they use the furnishings to pull themselves up and walk about the room. They also enjoy messy play, such as paint and water play, which develops their creativeness. Ofsted Report 2007

We have designed a large open plan room for our 2- 3years which has a relaxed situation with huge prominence being positioned upon learning through play. There are a wide range of stimulating and exciting areas with plenty of toys and equipment to build up their skills.
“Kids have access to a good quality variety of toys which are age and stage relevant. Toys and play resources are stored safely on low-level furniture to promote choice and independence. Children help themselves to books and enjoy the role-play area where they progress their imagination”. Ofsted Report 2007


In preschool we supply exciting possibilities within a open spacious plan setting. We have a quiet reading corner, construction area, role play, computer area, table top activities, as well as a independent art and craft area to get messy! The children have their own dining area and toilets which is easily accessible to them.

They have access to a range of waste materials where they construct their own instruments using rice and pasta. Kids develop increasing control over their small muscle skills as they handle tools, such as glue sticks, beads and brushes”. Ofsted Report 2007

Our safe and secure outdoor play areas are fitted with sturdy equipment. The kids are timetabled outdoors frequently during the day where they can enjoy plenty of hygienic air. We try to spend as much time as we can outdoors, especially when the sun comes out.
