A mother faces varied challenges at different steps in her life. For a mother, as the day starts, her responsibilities start piling up and then sorting through them completes her day. Other federal grants which are currently available are Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), Academic Competitive Grant (ACG), National SMART Grant and TEACH Grant.

The government has also sent out his message that colleges, schools and private sectors should also participate in this movement to provide education to single or married, working or laid off mothers, and put in efforts to extend their help. Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund, Florida George Snow Scholarship Fund Scholarship, Iowa Kirkwood Community College Scholarships, etc. are some of the examples of schools and colleges which are pouring in their efforts to present education to the mothers.

A laid off mother usually loses her heart thinking what the future lies for her. But, now there is no need to panic. With the number of scholarships for laid off mothers provided by the federal government and other organizations, has actually put forward a new possibility to utilize the time which you have got away from work and start studying again which will qualify you for better jobs and a better life.
