What I would like to talk about today is a handset call I received yesterday from a company called (www.useseopros.com) and about the way people try to scam you out there. This wasn't a mlm or home based company opportunity nor was it one of those companies that can make me bring in six figures. No, it was actually over the phone they contacted me and they had this amazing offer to make my netsite Google page 1.

What first of all happened was a lady called Julie said she had seen some of my many articles and wanted to know whether I would be 'engrossed in a profitable chance that could change my life'. Now when anyone says this, the bells start ringing ‘SCAM’, but I thought I would go through the process with her to find out what they suggest and just to humor myself as well.

Julie had tried to call me for 2 days before I actually spoke to her so I knew that she was keen in any case. She kept on asking about Yournetbiz and how I heard of them and what a good business they are to work for, blah blah blah. So after I sounded like I was still engrossed she asked me to sit down in front of my notebook and type in her netsite, and this was the funniest thing as the website that came up just underneath hers had her website address and the word scam beside it. So without trying to fall down chuckleing I carried on.She got me to fill out a form with my networksite on it, put down some keywords and then see what consequences came out from that. It came up showing all these different keywords and how many of them are searched on the net servers, with clear six figure income as number one. Julie then asked me to submit and there was then my networksite one Google page one under that keyword as a sign of what could be. Next she took me to one of their consumers who they’ve helped to grow to page one and then she had to go and passed me over to the ‘Vice President Jack’.

Jack started off by introducing himself giving the usual account of how he hasn’t done this in years and whether he’ll be able to recall it or not. Of course he seemed to pick it up fairly quickly and was alall set showing me other sites he had helped over his ’12 years of experience’, but I think the best line he gave me was that I was number 23 in the queue and if someone else took my keyword then there was zilch that could be done, so buy buy buy!! Next he pulled up this terrific graph of one of 'his' sites he had helped on all the servers on page one, a 6 month guarantee. Mind-blowingly we in reality got round to the 'number crunch' before I knew it and had even skimmed passed the 'We've halved the prices for this wonderful submit' and 'If you really want to be a winner then you have to take up this submit'. I can't recall the exact sums he was trying to blind me with but the cheapest was $3,000 but he wanted me to go for the $4,000 one as it would speed up my success. What was great was he kept on whisking through pages and then it somehow had got to a PayPal payment page for $4,000, at which point I excused myself with a ‘thanks but no thanks’. Once I had said this it sent him into a fit of 'lines' with one being' Once you hang up the phone you will miss out on your keyword and that will jeopardise your business, do you want that?'

Although I think they’ll still call again with another far-fetched submit I am just delighted that I am not one of those people who I read about who didn’t hear anything from them for 6 months, called up and was given a different answer every time or had a duplicate capture page made showing them that they’re number one, but of course the reality is they never were nor will be.
