So when a company is choosing a personality for celebrity marketing, they are careful to choose one who has a sparkling reputation. Their reputation is a strong indicator of the sway that a celebrity will have with their fans. So once a trustworthy supporter is chosen, they begin to tell us what products we should choose. With so many products in every market, the celebrity�s message is important to helping us choose what to bring home and use with our families.

New ingredients, styles, and even philosophies can be sold if consumers hear the pitch from a trusted persona. If a person that we see every day, even if we only see them on t.v., we might give anything a try! That exposure and familiarity convinces us that we know the person, and pairing a trusted face with a product is a winning combination for sales.
