A person, whom I will refer to as Mr. X, responded with the following comments to my article “FW: Christmas Stamps "urgent "”:
i liked your recap, showing bad and good people. i wonder what decisions people could have made a few years before germany and japan decided to take over the world and kill so many people. i think the majority of the german's and japanese participated in those decisions (either by force or not). i wonder if we should be concerned over the muslim's wanting to take over the world. it is not a society i would want to live. france is going through the decision process now. in 5 years the muslim's will be over 50% in france and will control the government and courts. what should the french people, not muslim's do now?

the eid stamp, as you indicated is 37 cents (good call) . i suspect cannot even be purchased now. i now wonder if it was ever produced.

My response to Mr. X was:
Thank you for your comments!
Q: “Should [we] be concerned over the Muslim's wanting to take over the world”?
A: Yes, there have always been fanatics saying that “they want to take over the world and rule it in their own way”. In history, the Roman Empire, Kiangsu Kong, Napoleon, the British Empire, Hitler/Mussolini/Emperor Hirohito, Communists, and now some Muslims have certainly tried, somewhat succeeded then fell apart or were stopped by force.
What each of these efforts have in common is that a few people want to rule the majority of people with authoritarian force.
In this country, with our republican (representative) form of government, we even elect a few people to make rules to control the majority. If it were a true democratic form of government, then each person would vote for each rule (something the Internet has not yet expanded to do) and then the majority vote would rule… however there is and should be a “Bill Of {Human} Rights” so regardless of the decisions of the majority, that everyone would still have the freedom of speech, freedom of (and from) religion, right to own property (not necessarily “real property”, as in land and the whole Earth, as that should be treated as common to all of us) etc.
And it is to preserve, by force when necessary, these freedoms for everyone that the majority of people need to protect itself from the few people who would kill the majority (or a minority) to run things their (religious or not) way.

Mr. X replies again with:
“i think you missed the big question - what should the non-muslim french people do now (today)??? they know that in 5+ years muslim's will be over 50% of the population and will control france as a muslim country.... decisions have to be made soon.... what does history tell us? “
To answer this question, I first checked out (via a Google Search “Muslims in France”) and found this Wikipedia reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_France#cite_note-2

“Estimates of the number of Muslims in France vary widely. In accordance with a law dating from 1872, the French Republic does not ask about religion in its census. Nor does it ask for ethnic origin. In 2006 the United States Department of State placed it at roughly 10%,[1] while two 2007 poll placed it at 3% of the national population.[2] The CIA World Factbook places it at 5-10%”.

So first off, if it is even 10% now (or a couple years ago according to the US State Department in 2006), the 50% in 5 plus years seems hard to accept.

Next would be the question “So what if there are 50% Muslims in France in 5+ years?” Are we not stereotyping all Muslims as terrorists with such statements? Are there not good Christians and bad Christians? (The God Father movies, Priests molesting children, and the KKK comes to mind). And probably good Buddhists and bad Buddhists? Well that covers the 3 major prophets and their religious followers as well as 3 of the major world religions. It is hard to put Hindus into this group as they have over 1000 gods but I am sure there are probably good Hindus as well as bad Hindus.

Ok, back to the “big question”, what do we do (or the French people do) about 50% Muslims in France in 5 plus years?

Options: 1) Send missionaries from all the other major religions so there won’t be 50% Muslims in France. 2) Have the US and the UK invade France (after Iran and North Korea because they may have weapons of mass destruction; and better add China, Russia, and Pakistan too). 3) The people in the world that want to preserve their freedom and to live in a world without fear of terrorism should join together to fight terrorism in whatever form it presents itself. Be it based upon religious fanaticism, grudges against government actions, fellow employees, or classmates. 4)???
