The first day you will maybe hang about the room, allowing your youngster to do his own thing yet remaining in sight. Evaluate his reactions stepping outside the room explaining that you are making a phone call and are just in the hall. Let the carers to distract your preschooler and observe from a a far (obviously, dont let him see you).

* When the time comes for you to sit in the car or select a coffee say bye, mum will see you later positively with a quick kiss and leave the room. If your child cries dont look back remember, once you are outside sight the toddler will stop crying shortly and will be distracted by play and activities.
