Panic attacks can strike at any moment, and it is often the insecurity of not knowing when and if you are going to have one that creates anxiety. Here are 3 proven steps from my Panic Attacks Treatments library that I have personally tested and implemented. I know they work because I get emails from all around the world everyday thanking me for the tips.
It is important not to underestimate the power of these secrets, as often the best ideas and methods are the simplest ones.
I believe in not overcomplicating matters as anyone who suffers Panic attacks knows, you have enough to deal with without complicated time consuming solutions.

Here we go with my 3 Simple Secrets Proven To Work every time.
1. One of the most important stages in the healing process. Acknowledge that you fear the onset of a panic attack itself. It is often this fear that generates so much anxiety that attacks are triggered from being anxious that you might have one. You can see how this becomes a never ending cycle that can quickly escalate into massive consequences.
BREAK THIS CYCLE
2. Accept the fact that you have Panic Attacks - You will never be able to deal with a problem until you accept that you have one. Living in denial is not going to find the cure for you. Put your Panic attacks in to context. They are not life threatening, you aren't dying, and no physical damage is occurring. This will become easier over time and goes hand in hand with step 1.
BREATHE.
RELAX,
be CALM.

3. Breathing exercises will help you to handle the attack. They also prevent you from hyperventilating and passing out from lack of air. Some people recommend breathing into a paper bag but I have a different method that I think works better. Take deep breaths and imagine that every breath in is Red Smoke or Panic and every breath out is Blue smoke (or calm). Take in the panic and convert its energy to cool, calm and relaxed. Brilliant method if you stick to it.
So there you have it. Just some of my techniques that got me from a recluse to singing on stage in front of 400 people.
I had quite severe panic disorder and I managed to beat it without medication. It took some work and self discipline, but looking back it certainly wasn't the hardest thing I have ever done.
That was singing in public.
