Faith healing can be accurately described as the method of seeking divine intervention in order to purify or heal oneself. People have believed, since time immemorial, that one can be cured as a result of divine intervention or some religious rituals. The fact that the notion of Faith Healing through intercession like prayers or ministrations of a spiritual leader has been around throughout recorded time can be used to state that Faith Healing is a very possible notion. The people who do not have faith on this chance are those who do not have any religious leaning of any sort.

Examples of Faith Healing

General process of Faith Healing is the Christian way of healing. You will find that there are many pastors and evangelists globally who have been found to be able to deliver Faith Healing to believers.

A good example of such persons would be a preacher by the name of Bonke and Benny Hinn. Benny Hinn would be seen to rest hands on people who were crippled, blind or had other diseases. After laying his hands on them and praying for them, they would be cured. If they were lame, they began walking, and if they had been blind, they got vision.

These preachers are people who seem have a lot of heavenly intervention when it comes to healing people. Bonke has been a person who has prayed for people with different diseases. He has been successful in using Faith Healing to heal people with ailments such as cancer, leukemia, and blindness. What happens is that you have to trust that you will be healed by divine intervention for the method to function. Faith Healing is known to be possible only when people have belief that they will be healed.

Another example of Faith Healing can be found in the Bible. If you go through the New Testament, you will find that a lot of Faith Healing has been done.

The person who has done plenty of this type of healing is Jesus the son of God. In one of the healings (discussed below), you will mark that the prayer process involved.

Faith Healing without prayer

The Bible narrates the story of some woman who had a daughter who had a demon in her. When this woman came to know that Jesus was in the region, she went to him, knelt down before him, and told him about the state her daughter was in. After she told Jesus her problem, Jesus said to her that her daughter was cured. This is an example of Faith Healing where prayer has not been used.

In the examples that we gave of Benny Hinn and Bonke, you will find that their Faith Healing involved the use of prayer. However, Jesus in the Bible did much of Faith Healing without involving prayer. These can be observed in many instances that are found in the New Testament. Even in the Old Testament, you will find that there are many cases of Faith Healing. They can either be through the use of prayer or just by sacred faith.
