Most people do not realise the many different ways omega3 benefits the body, and that is the function of this article, to show you the info why omega3 is so effective for you and why it is critical to make sure you get it into your diet.

The reason that it is so significant is because omega3 fish oil is a great anti inflammatory and an regrettable part of life is that as we get older inflammation happens naturally inside our bodies. Unfortunately, the body cannot on its own make omega3 so we have to acquire it into our system by some other means so that we can get the benefits of its anti-inflammatory properties.

So how does omega3 do good for the body and what is the best way to get it into your system?

First off we will have a look at the benefits and then we will look at ways to get it into our bodies:-

1) Anti Inflammatory Properties - this means that it can be instrumental in preventing conditions such as arthritis occurring or worsening. On a bigger scale though, inflammation has been connected to silent causes of death such as heart attacks, strokes and high blood pressure, so getting omega 3 into your diet can help ward off conditions such as these.

2) Brain Function Reports are beginning to prove that having fish oil can assist with the performance of the brain and research is showing that an increase in the oil can help with things such as depression, aggression and mood disorders. Not only that but it has also been noted that an increase in omega 3 can help the brain to function better and improve the learning and concentration capabilities of the brain.

3) Cancer Prevention & The Immune System Research is now recording that getting fish oil is of great benefit to the immune system on the whole, but more significantly if you are getting it then you can reduce your chances of breast or prostrate cancer, depending on which sex you are.

So that's how it can help you, but how do you get it into your system? Well in truth omega3 can be found in assorted sources but the best source is in all likelihood oily fish such as salmon. The downside to this is that to get up to the desired amounts of omega3 in your body you will in all likelihood need to eat fish every day and this could become rather expensive. Another fish besides salmon that is a good source of omega3 is tuna, the only thing is that the canned variety is stripped of its omega3 so you would have to purchase actual tuna steaks if you preferred to go down this road, which again can be quite costly
