Nokia E71 - The Smart, Smart phone

First impressions

Even with my lack of familiarity with smartphones, does not take long to understand how all this magic works. The first view, we find that the E71 is really thin and (more until the Iphone) and fits in any pocket. Fine, but large enough to have one of the best keyboards QWERT. Its keys are "fatty" and with a certain relief upwards, which means that even if small, you can usually hit without hitting 5 things at once.

The operating system, like all Nokia, the Symbian. A simple but complete. Is not the most beautiful, but is consistent and functional.

Design

The E71 also has a nice design and nice, with its metallic finish. Capinha hit by the black, sober and simple, which accompanies the unit.

Keyboard

Besides being comfortable. The T9, even on a keyboard QWERT, and streamlines the task of typing.

Sound

The little giant high screams when needed. It is possible to dispense with the speakers and the phone has good quality, but even using a special mini-connector. Equalizer has a base, with some pre-defined settings.
On the phone you can hear Radio FM. The phone also has a microphone, where you can answer a call without having to remove it from the pocket.

Connectivity

Nearly flawless in that aspect.
Bluetooth
WIFI
3G
Infrared (which is wrong?)
USB

GPS

Nokia Maps is a great service, although I bitch once in Curitiba. If you have any problem with it, use Google Maps and be happy, but this is like the customer!

Camera

A camera of 3.2 MP in a cell can no longer be a difference today, but it is something to respect. Although not replace a good digital camera is sufficient for most activities of everyday life.

At home I have a Canon camera of 3.2 MP, resolution equal to the E71. Below the photos with the Canon and E71, respectively, as compared.

As you can see, the E71 should not be anything for the Canon, which main goal is to take pictures of their existence. After the arrival of E71, it was poor and held at the bottom of the drawer. I need more of it for now.

There are functions to adjust the focus, tone color, color balance, exposure compensation, etc.. More than enough for a cell phone. Another cool thing: you can send your photos to your Flickr with one click.

For video, recording in MPEG4, 320x240, with sound, 30fps. You can climb straight to the Youtube. I got to make some videos, but they were just after a ballad with high levels alcoholic, I thought better not published:-P

There is another VGA camera for video-conferences.

Conclusion

I still have some other things to talk about the Nokia and the latest things that are being made. Finally, let the datasheet of the E71 and I say that with few days of experience, I believe this is the main competitor of BlackberrySA current and the best smartphone I have had opportunity to use.
