Negative Online Press Doesn't Help Marketing Online

Why I found it so challenging to market on the internet. Unfortunately, I didn't do my research before I chose to join Liberty League International. Though I'm not the only one. I've heard many of the same complaints from several of the other associates within the company. Many of us faced the same exact challenges.

The biggest challenge that I and many others faced was advertising online... And that's because of all the negative press online. It's a reality and there's nothing you can do about it. If you Google Liberty League International you'll see what I mean. There is so much negativity about the company on so many different sites. One major site that really bashes the company is the rip off report.

I can't count how many times I had an interested person ready to join my organization right after they heard the business presentation because they were so excited from what they heard. Most people want to think about it over night or talk to their partner and get back to you or have you follow up the next day. Well, I usually had to follow up the next day and when I did, quite often they wouldn't answer the phone or return my call. When I was able to get a hold of them, most everyone said the same thing. "Thanks for your time, but I don't think is the right company for me." I was always interested in knowing the reasoning behind their decision and 9 times out of 10 it was because they did their research on Liberty League International on the internet and found all the bad press and didn't feel good about it.

If I didn't enroll these people into the business directly after the business presentation my chances were almost slim to none if they did any research. It's not easy marketing online when you have that constant hurdle to overcome. I'm definitely not a pushy online marketer. I want people to make up their own minds based off of what they think is right for them. It's a a lot of money to start your own business. I want people to be informed as to what they are getting into. People should know up front what to expect. If they find out these things later it's never good. Some people didn't care about the negative press and joined our team anyway. Later down the road heard the same complaints from them and it at least it was never a surprise.

A lot of the top leaders in that have been with LLI for many years, host different training calls. These negative press objections always brought up on just about every call. What they would tell us was, "don't worry, there are plenty of people that will join, just keep making those calls. It's a numbers game." Well that numbers game can be quite expensive when you're marketing on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Most of my leads came from Google.

I didn't like the fact that I was hiding the company's name that I was partnered up with. I would never mention Liberty League International in my ad. In fact, I was horrified to even mention the words in conversation with the potential partners. I actually had a few people hang up on me during our conversation right when I mentioned the words Liberty League International. Now you must know that these leads weren't cheap. Especially my Google pay per click leads. Google is a great way to generate a lot of leads for your internet business. Now Google, Yahoo, and MSN obviously aren't the only ways to market your online business, but they are some of the most popular search engines on the internet. Another really good way to market your business is social media marketing. That is done with videos, articles, blogs, etc. But even then when you market there you'll find many people talking bad about the company.

My experience lasted just shy of a year. I sunk in over $25,000 into my business. When I quit the company I was qualified at the highest level. I did make my investment back and then some. It just wasn't worth the troubles anymore, coping with all of the negativity. So I started searching around and luckily I came across another similar company, based off of the same principals with a better comp plan. The products are also far superior, hands down.
