The NBA Finals end this week in Los Angeles as the Lakers host the Boston Celtics in NBA wagering.

The NBA Finals have a 2-3-2 arrangement so the 1st two and the last two games of the series are in Los Angeles. NBA Finals wagering had the teams splitting the 1st four games of the series so home court was not a guarantee of win.

NBA wagering odds preferred the home team in each of the 1st five games of the series and that will be the situation in Game 6 and in Game 7, in necessary. The Lakers were 5.5 or 6 point favorites in the 1st two games of the series so it's likely that will be the situation in the final two games.

The NBA Finals have featured numerous stars thus far from Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher to Ray Allen and Glen Davis. Which stars will determine the final outcome this week is the issue that remains. It's been shown that when center Andrew Bynum does not play, the Lakers have been in considerable trouble. He barely saw the court in Game 4 and Davis dominated the Lakers inside. If Bynum doesn't see much playing time due to injury then the Celts have the advantage, but if he's healthy the Lakers have the edge.

The major stars will determine which squad wins normally in an NBA Finals wagering series but that has really not been the case thus far. Kobe has had an great series for the Lakers but only due to the fact he scores over 30 points does not mean the Lakers constantly win. Alternatively, Paul Pierce has had his moments but he hasn't taken over the series. The result has been decided by other players like Davis and Fisher thus far. Will that be the situation in the determining games in Los Angeles?

Kobe Bryant is gaining increasingly frustrated with his squad. Though he is fairly persistently scoring plenty of points per game, he obviously feels as however his squad isn't following suit. Along the way to the locker room following their loss in Game 5 on Sunday, he was heard to blurt a stream of profanities at his squad. Later, he was reported as saying that the team's defense belongs on a milk carton as he was walking out to the bus with his high tops unlaced as a result of an ankle that has been injured again.

Paul Pierce's enthusiastic statement that the squad wouldn't be coming back to LA at the conclusion of Game 2 has also been proved wrong. So even though the Boston Celtics are leading the series 3-2, there's still a chance that the Lakers could take it all back now that they have the home court advantage.

Defense has been most important in this series ever since the opening game. Neither squad has had mind-boggling offensive performances. Plenty of of the games have gone under the total as a result. The defense could be difficult again with an NBA championship on the line in Los Angeles. Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday night in Los Angeles with Game 7, if needed on Thursday.
