Article marketing is cheap. Writing articles is a free method of marketing online. Think about that. Those who make the most money sometimes spend the least amount of money in their marketing.

The most important factor that will make you a millionaire on the Internet is having a multiple top 10 rankings on major search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask, and Dogpile. Because as soon as you get your website at the top of search engines rankings you will receive floods of free traffic as you continue to maintain your rankings.

The fastest way to literally get your website on the first page of Google or Yahoo is to write articles. Major search engines put a lot of importance on a website by the number of back links that point back to your website from other sites with high page ranks.

Instead of running an endless and tedious campaign to exchange links with other websites in your niches, just write articles.

Each time you write an article, put a link in your bio box in the keyword text that you want to get a top 10 ranking for. You’ll notice when you look at my bio box that the link pointing back to my site is in the text of the keyword I want to rank highly for.

Every time your article gets picked up by a publisher and put on their website you get another link pointing back to your site. When a search is done for the keyword linking back to your site, the search engine will put your site at the top of the searches as soon as you have a higher number of quality back links pointing back to your site for that particular keyword.

Viral:

Article marketing is a viral method of advertising. For example after you write and submit your article to various article directories countless publishers will come to the directories and decide to publish your article on their website and the more publishers that pick up your article, the more your article spreads globally.

One article I wrote spread to over 14,000 different pages in cyber space within just two weeks.

Now I had thousands of pages online pointing back to my site, thus this site of mine rose to #2 on Google, #1 on Yahoo and #3 on MSN, and in the top 5 of Dogpile and Ask,

Now I had free traffic coming to my site from the high search engines rankings and there were 14,000 different places across the world someone could come and find me by finding one of my articles.

And this article will never stop spreading. Articles continue to spread like a virus forever or at least for as long as the World Wide Web exists.

When you look at all of the millionaires that the Internet has produced, you will see that the vast majority of these online tycoons got there by article marketing.
