Bird enthusiasts will want to visit d''Algendar Gorge where you can see native plants and animals flourishing in a lush, protected environment. A variety of bird species including booted eagles, kites and herons live here.

Menorca Prehistoric Monuments - Menorca has been home to many different populations stretching back into prehistoric times, and several of these populations left monuments and structures that survive to this day. The most complete site, Talati de Dalt, is only 4 km from Mao. This village dates back to the third century AD. On the other side of the island the Naveta de Tudons, a Bronze Age mass burial site, may date back to 1200 BC.

Menorca offers many different vacation activities for all ages without the crowds you will find on Mallorca and Ibiza.
