Neckties changed after the French Revolution. French men still love to wear neckties; in fact, a necktie is considered an essential piece in a French man's wardrobe. Such an interesting matter, it is that people make the most efforts to give meaning to neckties, such as that of diplomacy and loyalty. Ties have been more than a decorative accessory and they were representative of the bearer's identity, status, personality, hobbies, and more. You can have a basic understanding of the wearer through the neckties so it is meaningful during the social networking. Prior to today, this regulation was not a major deviation from the status-quo.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Windsor and King Edward VII were significant figures demonstrating the importance of neckties. He had great contribution to the world from his fashion taste, besides his romantic love story. His fan base is immense still because of his fantastic taste. The Duke of Windsor was always fashion-forward and creative until his death in 1972. The most common, and preferred style for wide ties is the Windsor knot. It was sensational for that invention all over the world; even the arrogant Hitler made compliments on that. Now the Windsor knot is considered appropriate for both formal wear and business, however, it began as a knot preferred by the artistic section. Even he has been told he can not be a true artist endearing, if not a Windsor knot. The nineteenth century was a time of transition for the necktie, which went from a quiet indicator of personal taste to a clear marking of inclusion in society. Part of the tie mystique is the social interest and meanings of different styles of ties. Neckties boomed in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
