Meditation will improve your health, increase your energy levels and maximize your enjoyment of life. Without any doubt, by doing meditation more people would benefit if they took the time to practice the simple exercises which are used to calm the mind, decreases the stress and increase the energy levels.

Meditation relaxes the body and the mind and it brings the inner harmony into one's mind and world. It is a state of concentrated attention with the attention turned inwards from the external world.
The main aim of the meditation is to free the mind from the compulsive subconscious habit of incessant and restless thinking, and to make one aware of one's inner real essence. This will leads to inner peace and freedom and to spiritual awakening.

The meditation should be practiced both the East and West. No need to be a monk or live in seclusion or in ashram to practice it. You can live your day-to-day life, can do your job, husband or wife and kids, anyone can practice it. This is an inner practice and it doesn't require that you should follow any particular religion, wear separate clothes or lead a particular life style.

Meditation means sticking to the one thought. That single thought will keep you away from the other thoughts.

What is Meditation?
It is a way to transform and cure ourselves. When we meditate, we allow the twist of ideas and thoughts to slow down to the point where we find a calm and positive connection with ourselves. Even though there are many different ways to meditate, all styles will teach the directing of the attention to reconnect with the part of you that is most real and true.

Purpose:
The seductive appeal of mystic visions, psychic intuition and heightened mental functioning can be very alluring. While some of the meditates report that esoteric experiences, by themselves should not be the primary reason for the practice. The main purpose of it is to transform the state of our hearts and minds and brings us back to ourselves. By this we become healthy, happy and realize greater self awareness and more benefits begin to follow naturally- improves mental functioning, greater intuition as well as greater access to unconscious resources and abilities.

Style of Meditation:

Always keep an open mind when you are learning. Never accept a teaching without verifying the truth of it in your own experience. On other, reserve making judgment before having the experience for yourself.

The style of Meditation is that it feels the right for you. There are different systems of meditation which includes, but not limited to concentration, mindfulness, Zen, Visualization and devotion. You may decide to experiment with a few different styles and see how they feel.

Do meditation as a daily Practice:

By this you can be stronger in yourself. You can be happy, balanced and compassionate. You can see the changes you truly want to see in your life through the meditation. No need to give up all your worldly passions or retreat to a Himalayan monastery either!

Daily ten-minute practice will makes all the difference. No need of much time to dedicate when you consider all the time spent caring for your physical appearance. You will not go to a meeting or occasion without clean clothes and brushing your teeth.

While some of the meditates report about esoteric experiences, but that should not be the primary reason for their practice
