It's also not unknown for individuals to use credit cards to pay their bills, even going as far as paying their mortgages like this, but the interest that is accrued doing so makes this a true money loser. You may be one of the majority people who has many credit cards in his name, and if so, then you should consider to get rid of your cards and just keeping one for emergencies.

If you have outstanding debts on current credit cards may be an idea to pass all these debts at a 0% balance transfer life of card or low interest balance transfer card, and then get rid of the other cards, when they were paid off. Another alternative is to concentrate on paying off the balance on your credit card as quickly as possible so that you avoid too much costly interest fees and get the debt paid quicker. while repaying a debt, you should pay as much as you can over and above the minimum amount due for the month. Thus, you will save on the interest amount that you pay and you will be able to repay debt more quickly.

It is important, particularly in the current depression where household budgets are seriously strained, to avoid spending money that you don't have, and this is what majority persons with credit cards do. Use the credit card and they repay it within the interest free period or Instead, you should avoid making purchases on the credit card and use cash instead. After that, try to pay off the balance as soon as possible.

You may want to get rid of the card if the temptation is too much don't cut it- you can easily re-order it if you do. In place of this, once the repayment of the balance is done, shut down the account with the credit card company totally.
