Welcome to Greenhill Lodge Day Nursery. We are located off the Birmingham Road in Sutton Coldfield and cater for all children from birth to five years and facilitate children with special needs. We have created, together with our dedicated staff, a happy, cheerful and protected environment in nice-looking and welcoming atmosphere.

We arrange settling in classes to advise you and your kid to grow to be friendly with both the staff and daycare atmosphere. Our main concern is to make sure that you and your baby are cheerful, and will work with your requests as best we can. We get pleasure from working in close association with moms keeping them well educated about the pre school and their child's improvements. Regular workshops are organised to make available you with possibilities to get involved within the daycare and meet other moms.

We organise frequent Moms group meetings which will offer you the chance to come into daycare and talk about your baby’s improvement. You will additionally be able to read the observations and assessments that would have been carried out throughout their time at nursery school. When your infant leaves nursery to attend school, you will be given a profile with samples of their work, observations and assessment records.

The wellbeing of each child is of paramount significance to us, which is why we manage who is coming in and out of the nursery school at all times. All staff have been CRB checked and are either qualified or working towards their qualifications in childcare.

Our baby unit is designed for six babies at any one time. It has a separate sleeping area as well as a changing room. The staff present a variety of play experiences to advance and care for each kid. We have wisely selected a broad assortment of stimulating toys and equipment to entertain and stimulate your baby throughout the day. We send home daily a diary that shows you what they have eaten, had to drink, how long they have slept and of course what they have been getting up to!

Here is where we have the 1 - 2 year olds. As this age group is becoming mobile, we have designed this room with fabulous soft play areas for them to safely get around without getting up to mischief! In addition have sleeping quarters and an eating / messy play area to keep them entertained. Nearby is a separate changing room on hand. A diary of what they have been getting up to is given each day for you to keep an eye on what they have eaten, had to drink and how long they have slept.

We can cater up to twelve 2 - 3 year olds at any one time. This room is a fun and brightly decorated place where the children use stimulating apparatus to enhance their skills.
Children enjoy and pick from a first-rate range of relevant resources and activities. They have the confidence and abilities to initiate their own play and do so with ease as they move around their play room selecting what they want to play with. Ofsted Report October 2009

Our day nursery unit is a open open plan room which can take up to 16 3 - 5 year olds. Staff offer a range of activities, play possibilities and apparatus to offer the children the best start for mainstream school. We have a classroom like theme, catering for the six areas of education, such as a science area, I.T area, library area, art and craft area and a home corner providing exciting opportunities for kids to discover.
