Turning no into yes is more than just an approach for solving business problems and achieving career success. It's also a program for creating personal happiness. Once you learn that you can truly solve all your business and financial problems, you'll realize that the same approach can be used to address many of your personal problems as well. Even more importantly, by solving your business problems, by overcoming each and every obstacle on your path to career success, by repeatedly turning no into yes, your confidence will increase, your self-esteem will soar and you will feel totally in charge of your own destiny. That's because success and failure build on themselves, both chemically and behaviorally.

Negative feelings suppress the production of chemicals in the brain called endorphins. A decrease in endorphins leads to feelings of depression. Depression then generates even more negative feelings and you're stuck in a downward spiral into a dark pit of misery.

Positive feelings, on the other hand, like those you'll have after overcoming an obstacle or turning a no into a yes, increase the level of endorphins in the brain. That leads to a natural high that increases your resistance to pain and stress, and boosts your strength and stamina. Obviously, that natural high also generates more positive feelings, leading you up a positive climb toward happiness.

A person who is repeatedly unable to solve his business problems will also fall into a behavioral pattern that leads to even more failure. Someone who sees himself as a failure will act in ways that perpetuate his failing. He'll set goals he's unable to reach. He'll then pursue those goals halfheartedly, increasing his chance of failure, since he "knows" he's bound to fail anyway. When confronted with an ambiguous or mixed outcome he'll focus on the negative aspects of it, turning it into the failure he expected. He'll then attribute each new failure to something about himself or something outside of himself that he believes can't be changed, setting the stage for ever more failures.

Conversely, a person who believes she will succeed, who has learned to overcome obstacles and turn no into yes, will enter a behavioral pattern that leads to more successes. Someone who sees herself as a success will act in ways that perpetuate her success. She'll select clearly defined goals that require effort, but that are achievable. She'll work hard,

increasing her chances of success, since she feels her efforts will pay off. If she comes face-to-face with an ambiguous situation she'll focus on the positive aspects of it, turning it into the success she expected. If confronted with failure she'll attribute it to things about herself she can change, or to external forces that will be different the next time. She'll continually set the stage for repeated successes.

She, and you, can insure repeated success by following a problem-solving approach. Realize that there's a similarity to all problems: they all contain a no. Determine what your real problem is. Make sure you're dealing with one problem at a time. Frame your problems rationally not emotionally. Become an expert. Create an environment of trust. And, if you need to, literally turn no into yes.

Learn to solve problems by turning no into yes in your business life and you will become more successful, happy, and self-confident than you could ever imagine. You will revolutionize your business, your career, and even your personal life. And to start, all you need do is turn the page.
