The point here is that the more concious you are of your food intake, the faster the weight will come off.

You also need to keep in mind that you didn't put those 5, 10 or 20 pounds in a day or a week. It took months or years to put those on. It won't take that long to get rid of it, but you need to be willing to work hard consistently for your persistance to pay off.

You're eating habits will truly determine the way you look. Nutrition is the biggest influence on your body composition and body fat percentage. Second up comes your cardio and weight training programs to burn body fat.

Here's your Action Plan:

1. Avoid boxed snacks- They can cause insulin levels to skyrocket, making you hungrier and turning your fat-storing mechanisms on. They also decrease satiety, causing you to eat more to feel as full.

2. Avoid eating processed foods- In order to extend shelf life and improve taste, processed foods are packed with chemicals and trans fats. They also tend to be loaded with sugar or sodium.

3. Avoid eating high carb/ high fat foods- Foods such as fettuccine Alfredo or donuts stimulate large insulin spikes, virtually guaranteeing fat storage where you least like it.

Listen up, to burn body fat and then maintain a healthy, fit body you need a balanced approach to diet and exercise. You simply need to train using effective strategies, and follow a nutritional program that supports your efforts.
