Peacock Bar - best for entertainment Peacock Bar Club has won various awards as Top Greater London Birthday Party Club, Top Burlesque London Club and Number one Cabaret Club Central London [plus won just about every other award under the sun in the last six months including Number one Central London Small Venue from Function Fixers and Spoonfed]. Our programming is very much musical comedy sketches /social commentary in the finest Kinks elegance After we have cheesy 80s, 90s, 00s till 2.30am with principal Djs like Dave DiskoJuice. Peacock Bar also programs a lot of one off events and corporate events with a seasonal theme Particularly well suited for birthday party, Christmas party, hen party and stag party bookings. Should Peacock Bar be rated best for shows? Possibly the only Inner London venue able to provide great fine cocktails, burlesque, cabaret and 70s 80s Djs till late every Friday and Saturday Runners up Inigo for electronic music and Hawley Arms for live bands.

Vinoteca - Best for wines
There in no venue with the possible exception of Vinopolis which focus so much and so well on wines.

Not only is the wine list excellent so many of the wines are also available by the glass making an evening of wine tasting possible even for the smallest of groups. It is not possible to give justice to the breadth of the wine list in terms of grape varieties, countries and price points. Putting the wines aside I quite like the distressed brick like simplicity (think Smiths of Smithfield), food (suitably plain) offering and overall bar atmosphere. Also worth mentioning are Viniopolis and of course La Gavroce with the best wine list of all It is the wine list that is the star at Vinoteca
Lab - best for cocktails

Lab does to cocktails what Vinoteca does for wines but has been doing it for much longer A very convenient position in the middle of Soho is a somewhat spoilt by a having to go into a rather dingy and low ceilinged basement (ignore the ground floor which is pokey and reminiscent of an airport lounge) . The buzz can also be disappointing with too many people trying the place out on a one off basis The food average at best. shows is just a CD player.

However Lab has consistently produced the highest quality of fine cocktails in Inner London bar none for at least the last five years and manages to do so in a non stuffy way (please note various hotel late night bars I prefer not to publicize). Hence Lab's rating in everyone's list of Inner London's best venues. Runners up none spring to mine but a list of pretenders to the throne would be endless

Lounge Lover bar - principal for styling
You either love it or you hate but everyone who has any sense of elegance loves it. Picture this a room are taken up by seating, which is mostly regency-design chairs with low, candlelit tables, each with a four foot champagne. {The bar area features high glass fronted bookshelves filled up not with books, but with wine and glasses|Not to mention book shelves filled not with books but exotic drinks and glasses {}. Opposite the main room is an antiquities room and VIP area (also used for performances) also serves as a green room for any performers.|Other area include an antiquities room and of course lots of baroque sofa and couches } This place has only one purpose to seduce you with its opulence and style. And it works the drinks and food are first rate albeit on the pricey side. Also worth a mention Lost Society and Peacock Bar
