The next Marvel films to look at are the following:

Iron Man 2 (7 May 2010)

Thor (6 May 2011)

The First Avenger: Captain America (22 July 2011)

The Avengers (4 May 2012)

Other Marvel films that are in the works that I'm not particularly excited regarding include Spider-Man 4 and Ghost Rider 2 (which I have heard is likely to be made), both of which are following up motion pictures that did not sincerely entertain me too much ahead of (ie. the concluding Spider-Man movie, which was a big disappointment for me, as well as the first Ghost Rider motion picture -bleh). Funny that the least interesting future Marvel movies are ones not produced by Marvel itself, eh?

IRON MAN 2

I'm honestly looking forward to this one given how well the first Iron Man motion picture was. With this sequel, Robert Downey Jr. as well as most of the other principle cast members will be back to further develope their characters. We will almost certainly become to witness Tony stark further develop as well as refine his armor and in addition get to observe several new villains like Whiplash as well as Justin Stane. In addition we will get to observe another possible impending Avenger – the Black Widow, and become our first glimpse of War Machine. If they follow the first movie in sneaking in a teaser at the end of the credits it would be neat to see another next motion picture or character lead up hinted at.

THOR

Certain might think of this upcoming Thor motion picture as less of a lure given the lower profile of the motion picture’s leading character. Marvel comics version of the mythological character Thor is the star of his own monthly book as well as has recently enjoyed a renewed popularity with readers. The movie version of the character will be directed by Kenneth Branagh and could in all probability hook supporters of the more mystical motion pictures such as Lord Of The Rings, etc. depending vis-à-vis how Branagh chooses to develop or play out the story. I am not sincerely familiar with Chris Hemsworth’s body of work consequently far therefore my feelings on the subject of him as the lead are pretty much neutral for this movie.

CAPTAIN AMERICA

This is one that I am truly uncommon vis-à-vis. the possibilities are here for a truly sufficient Captain America movie to be made: they have all a competent director in Joe Johnston, as well as a good cast with the preference of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America as well as Hugo Weaving as the villainous Red Skull. Needless to say Johnston does seem to have a reputation of being somewhat ‘hit or miss’ with his past ventures, with his nearly all contemporary effort, The Wolfman, meeting with mixed reviews. Will be interesting to follow the progress of this one…

AVENGERS

Well this future Avengers film is the one that genuinely has me hopeful – that really has me excited. Of every single one the next Marvel ventures within works, this is the film that it has every single one been leading up to. By the time work starts regarding this motion picture, it will have pretty a lot cast itself, what with almost every one of the essential characters of the movie being already established in the previous movies, from the first Iron Man movie, to the Incredible Hulk motion picture, as well as the others then again to be released. It has been suggested that Loki might awfully well be the weighty villain of the piece which would be appropriate seeing as how he was the principle villain of the extremely first query of the Avengers comics waayy back within the 1960s. even that villain (Loki) will have been previously used in the upcoming Thor film prior to he would appear in the Avengers. Fresh rumour has suggested that Ed Norton might be open to reprising his role as Doctor Bruce Banner/The hulk from the closing Hulk film. that would be more potential reasonable news for me since I was a fan of his performance within Incredible Hulk film.

Well there you have it: over the impending number of years there will be quite various popcorn films, such as the Avengers, released from Marvel Entertainment as self-produced projects that countless comic book supporters are excited regarding seeing as well as (I believe) for suitable reason. Back when Marvel decided to effectively go it alone with their future film ventures they were definitely taking a gamble, and now it seems as if their gamble was one that might end up paying off for the studio in a huge way over the years to come.
