My life altered in Summer 2005. At that point i decided to grow to be an IT Auditor. It seemed exceptionally extraordinary for some of my friends, as my college studies were all about encoding skills. These systems produce various commodities, provide various services, compute salaries, control our interest rates, drive diverse} bills to us, etc. As we can see, there are lots of computer systems which control our daily activities, help us be alive in today's complex world. Nevertheless who and how manage all these systems? How we can be ensured, that our payment were calculated acceptably, that various goods were produced as we expected - how to control that all these systems are functioning as we assume them to work? This is a nice question, isn't it?

My answer to this question is - we are. We, IT Auditors, keep under control, or sometimes help to control, all IT systems in the world. Certainly, all companies and their IT people must controltheir private IT systems by implementing numerous IT Controls. That's where we come across this word first time. IT Controls - it is various procedures, which must be taken by some custodian IT employees in order to keep under controland guarantee the normal operations of IT systems. But the earth is continuously a loop, isn't it? That is why somebody have to managethese custodian IT employees to guarantee that their IT Controls are operated as projectedby company executive. So, what we come up with right now. A number of guys at a specific company must develop a amount of IT Controls, and some guys, IT Auditors similar to me, have to come and test their IT Controls and validate that these controls operateeffectively. Generally how it works - the IT custodian employees is in charge to run IT Controls on daily basis, and IT Auditor comes once per yearto examine the IT Controls and verify that all of them were operated well throughout the last year. Such tests are repeated each year.
By performing tests of IT Controls on a usual basis, we make sure that these exact IT systems work as they must work.

There are hundreds and thousands and millions of numerous businesses globally, there are even more IT employees in every on these companies, and there are thousands of IT Auditors in the World to analyze all the IT Controls in all systems. Sure, not all companies have the similar procedure, there are manybusinesses who have not adopted any of IT Controls yet, but they will do this. Otherwise, such companies will finish their operations as sometime their IT systems will finish runningaccurately.

That is why i deem, that my function as IT Auditor is vastly crucial. As any other occupation in the World. By doing our work we constitute our lives enhanced. My function is to test IT Controls and make sure that IT systems function as they be supposed to work. Mankind is creating more and more difficult IT systems nowadays, that is why all IT Auditors global will have more and more work each year.

Lets keep under control all these systems and not let them to keep under control us!
