Proxy Servers
These are also known as anonymizer software, they can be used to unblock any sites. These work as a third party to break through the firewall, and give you access to the blocked site. The process is simple, your computer connects to the proxy server, and the proxy server connects to the required site. Basically it is not your computer interacting with the site, it is another computer. There are various user friendly proxies on the Internet that will offer you free access to the sites. If one does not work there are others to pick from.

IP Address instead of the URL
If the software has not blocked the IP address and only the URL, you are in luck. You can easily get access to the site you want, by typing the IP address. To get the IP address you need to command prompt and type:"ping domain.com. You can receive the IP address and regain access. Sometimes those sites blocking you may block a certain IP address or range of IP addresses, this method can be used in such situations.

Google Cache
Google Cache can be used to access blocked websites by caching, go to the website of Google and type the page to be unblocked. Zero in on the site you want to gain access to, and click on cached to get the required permissions. Clicking on the cached option leads you to the cached page, giving you access. This is a simple and effective way to unblock sites.

URL Redirect Service
These redirect services allow you to create a new URL for the blocked web sites. After creating the new URL, you can enter the new URL in your address bar and get directed to the original web site.

Software changes
If your software is blocking you, it might be easy to just disable or delete the software or to simply change your browser options. You may also consider downloading a different browser, if that is the problem. It may not work in all cases, but it is well worth a try.

1. Remember to clear the history of the sites you have been visiting.
2. It is easy for the law to find out who has used certain sites, hence one needs to make sure the data being viewed is not of a confidential nature, or has not been restricted for any other purpose.
