The draining of persistent bad thoughts and insertion of positive thoughts help the patient from withdrawing from the addiction. Also patient who have a tendency to relapse gain lot of mental grit by regular counseling.

As a cautious citizen we should avoid self treatment for any reason because half knowledge is always dangerous.
