Make sure the lawyer you choose has experience in all the areas your investment will impact. There may be more to what you are planning than you even know, and at the very least, your lawyer needs to be up-to-date on international trade, admiralty and maritime law, foreign investment regulations, corporate and commercial laws, litigation, arbitration and financial reporting.
