From here, open at the gray cover at the bottom. Six tabs hold this into place, which you can access through the venting holes. With a tool to press down on the tabs, you can pull gently and release the cover.

The top cover works in the same way, while the tabs are much harder to find. The first two can be found through the drive tray. The next couple can be accessed through vent holes at the top and the final two can be reached by removing the feet from the back of the console. After all of these covers are removed, however, you are ready to begin detailed Xbox 360 repair using a suitable guide!
