There are however some labs that may ask you to have your images printed first or put them on slides prior to saving them in the disc. But when printing already takes place, see to it that they print your pictures in the highest quality possible.

Checking for quality should be the next step when you have already digitized the images you need. At the actual print size, make sure that your images are at least 300 dpi or dots per inch. You can use images that are slightly bigger than this but would you want your images to be printed smaller? The outcome will definitely be low quality printing. This will make you end up with a file that is significantly large. The size or weight of the file will be somewhere between 1-4 MBs. if your images is a JPEG file. Meanwhile, Tiff files are even bigger. For every image, they can range from 15-75 MB.

The next thing to undertake in zed card printing once you have evaluated the quality of your zed cards is to make some color and photo enhancements. Usually this is when troubles occur and the professional artist should take charge. It is important for you to know that a lot of computer monitors are not regulated or attuned to the printer that will be used so it is possible that the colors that appear on the screen will not be similar to the ones that would appear after printing. Nevertheless, this can be resolved with the use of the proper software. This software, however, could cost you thousands.

You can now resize or adjust your images accordingly and position them in your lay-out once you have made all your photo touch-ups or enhancements.
