Aruba is a small island is situated in the Lesser Antilles within the southern Caribbean Sea. A part of the Netherlands, it is one of the most popular holiday destinations on the entire planet, and anyone who visits will clearly understand why. You should certainly think about visiting Casibari at Arikok national Park. You should also aim at going to Wilhelmina Park in Orangestad which is the capital city of the island. This park is certainly best visited during the months of June, September and October as well, as during these times the wonderful flowers in the Park will be fully in bloom. The park was built in 1955 as a homage to the Dutch King and Queen, and is certainly one of the top spots to visit on the island.
In the capital city you should also visit the hysterical Museum. This is certainly an excellent place where you can learn about the culture and the history of the island. At the end of the day, while it is a fairly small island and are very beautiful one at that, the beauty of it is certainly more than skin deep. There are all sorts of wonderful artefacts that you can explore and some excellent exhibitions on show.
You should also take a visit to the Butterfly farm if you have an interest in this sort of thing. There are 32 species of butterfly from all over the world in this farm and the beauty of colour and the different types of varieties there will more than captivate you.
If you are simply looking to lounge on the beach then going to Boca Mahos would certainly be your best bet. This is an absolutely charming location that has every single essential aspect that you would want from the perfect tropical beach. However, the beach is a little bit known for some strong winds and rough weather at certain times of year, so always check about this before you go.
Of course, that is not to say that there aren't some other beautiful beaches on the island. If you are simply a beach dweller then Aruba will more than satisfy you. Regardless of whether you are looking for history, culture, a vibrant nightlife, wonderful restaurants and bars, or simply a peaceful beach to relax on, this lovely little island will offer you everything you could ever want from your vacation.
