Steps

To begin preheat your oven. It should be set to 500 degrees Fahrenheit for no more than 15 minutes prior to baking.

Take them out of the bag and run them under the pipe washing away any traces of dirt completely. If they are especially dirty rub in between the grooves where any dirt may build up. Do not peel the potatoes they should stay in their skins to maintain moisture during the process.
Take out your aluminium foil and wrap individual potatoes in a single piece of foil.
Once you have wrapped all of them, put each directly on the top shelf of your oven.
Time the potatoes. They should bake in 45 minutes to an hour. Set a timer to 45 minutes to alert you when they are done.
To make sure that they are actually baked use a knife with a fine pointy tip or a tooth pick and stick the largest potato. If it feels soft then all the potatoes should be ready to be taken out. If the potato is slightly resistant to the knife or toothpick let them remain and allow them to bake fully for another 10- 15 minutes. The Potatoes will not take longer than an hour to be completed, be careful not to over-do the potatoes.

Once your potatoes are done you may take them from the oven and serve them instantly. This will let toppings such as butter or cheese melt on top of the newly baked potato. Cut the individual potatoes in half and serve in or without the foil.
